At Stonewood Contracting, we take a proactive approach by anticipating potential challenges and decisions that have to be made and collect the necessary information so that we have more answers than questions. We start with the concept of your finished project and work backwards from there to achieve it. That's why we inform and guide you towards making decisions like: the thickness of your finished floor, the width/depth of your vanity, how layout impacts lighting etc., to ensure that the finished project will align with your goals.
Our Approach to Building
Our approach is careful and calculated. We pay attention to the season and elements we are building in, and how that can influence materials and timelines. We exercise foresight to be steps ahead of the next phase. We consider our sub-trades’ mechanical routes and their impact on structure and finishes. Furthermore, we have respect for your daily routines and neighbours, and consider how your project may impact others
Our Process
After discussing your project, we start by establishing a detailed scope of work. This ensures that we are on the same page, and you get exactly what is promised.
We care about execution because it's the attention to details, and a strategic order of operations that make all the difference! When we build an addition or renovate a home, the seamless integration of old and new is vital to the success of a project.
We inform and engage you throughout - onsite meetings are an important way for us to review progress, discuss details, and physically experience your new space. When your project is complete, we will walk you through and collectively address anything else that you would like done, to ensure you're completely satisfied.
